IMMERSIVE VAN GOGH EXHIBIT KC

 

Van Gogh Immersive KC  is truly a lifetime experience! I grew up learning to appreciate Van Gogh as my father was a huge fan. Years later, when I met my husband, found out that he was also a huge fan. SO it had been on our wish list to someday see the paintings! When we were hosted at the Van Gogh Immersive KC, it was truly a dream come true. 

At the Immersive Van Gogh, viewers are transported to a 360 degree experience with 500,000 cubic feet of monumental projections animating Van Gogh’s oeuvre. The mind of the genius is illuminated by moving images that highlight brushstrokes, detail, and color. It’s breathtaking and awe-inspiring as the visuals change to darkness, while the musical notes tug at your heartstrings. If you are an art-lover, then you can’t miss it! If you are not an art-lover, then you will surely become one.

The creator of our Immersive Van Gogh exhibition is Italian installation artist Massimiliano Siccardi, whose work was seen by over 2 million visitors in Paris and was featured on Netflix’s Emily in Paris.

ROMPER SKORT: EXPRESS STYLE FILES

Summer florals, Express style! For my monthly OOTD post, fell in love with this Romper Skort! This is one of the picks from InStyle Magazine , as well! Are you a fan of rompers ? Let me know in the comments! 

Rompers have not been in my regular circulation, when it comes to Summer outfits. I have had a few which I love. But this romper-skort was too cute to miss. I am wearing a Size Medium, as I prefer a roomier fit with my dresses from Express. When it comes to tops, I usually opt for a Small. 

The tropical prints were another reason why I opted for this number! Moddy florals and tropical prints are a huge favorite of mine. Paired my outfit with some Sage Green leather earrings from Nickel and Suede, Basket Bag, brown heels and my Wayfarers!

FESTA ITALIANA KC AT ZONA ROSA

 

Festa Italiana KC is Amore! Kansas City’s very own Italian food festival  happened this weekend at Zona Rosa! It’s truly a foodie paradise. Brought together by the Italian American community of Kansas City -UNICO, it is an annual eventwhich raises funds for scholarships, through this event. So it’s an event with a great cause! 

 Over 30 vendors served food and entertainment to you all weekend along! Some of our favorites include the Steak Sandwich from Johnny Vivace, Combo plate from Garozzos , Pizza from Little Italy , Italian Sausage from Scimeca's Deli . Of course Peach Bellini from your Slush Your Mouth,  and Cannolis & Tiramisu Virginia Patti's Bakery ! 

That’s not all! The live entertainment was fabulous! Loved watching retro band Flashback and also a Meatball eating contest. Danced on the grass with hubs while sipping on our Bellinis, as the live music played on! Also the bounce houses and candy were a huge hit with Rii! If you are planing to attend next year, then please do carry cash, as many of the vendors are cash only. Parking and entrance are free. 

We had an amazing time on Friday, with great food, great entertainment and great beverages. I am definitely marking this on my calendar for next year. Can’t wait to be back!
