We had a wonderful time shopping at the Merry Market by @strawberryswingkc at @citymarketkc . It’s now become an annual tradition to spend our Small Business Weekend at the holiday market. @strawberryswingkc is an indie-craft fair that brings together KC's best local artists, holiday entertainment, food trucks & holiday drinks. Inspired by the open-air markets you see in Europe with dazzling twinkle lights, creative & original vendors, & all the holiday decor your heart could desire. Head over to my stories for more. The Merry Market will pop up from Friday(4pm onwards), Saturday, and Sunday(9 am onwards), through December 19. @shoplocalkansascity is open throughout the year to shop all things Kansas City.

I and Deb love to make cocktails at home over the weekend. So we had to stop by Kansas City Canning Co. This stop is to adults what a candy store is to kids. Loved these pre-made cocktails mixes.
Speaking of favorite local small businesses, we are huge fans of Messner Bee Farms. Their lip balms are our go-to throughout the year. Loved the stock whenever I get a chance. What's even adulting if you don't have your lip balms, in every room of the house. Did I mention Rii loves their honey sticks?
I can never have enough of KC gear. So Clothed In Strength came in clutch with their awesome collection. It's always nice to meet new makers. Bleach Bae really wowed us with their rendition of bleach tie-dye creations.
Speaking of makers that you know, it was so nice to meet Lori of Heaven Scent Soy Candles, and shop from her new holiday line.
We had to stop in our tracks, to admire the custom neons at Naked Neons. Do you know they are same folks, who also have Photo Bus KC. I might already have some ideas for some custom pieces for our basement.
Tasty Good Toffee is a toffee-maker from Nebraska, whom we met at last year's Holiday market. SO w had to find her, this year. Her toffee is so popular that she was already sold out of our favorites by mid-day. Good news is that you can also order online through her website. You know I love to shop for Blaze. How cute are these velvet leashes and collars from The Plaid Badger. These would make great holiday gifts for your furry babies.
Speaking of furry babies, Puptivism is another local maker who makes collars and leashes on current social issues.
If you love coffee mugs and if you love plants, then you should surely check out Siren Art Studio for all this more and so many more wonderful gifts!
