Happy 4th of July everyone! Hope all of you are having a wonderful day and long weekend. I love to plan outfits around holidays, not only for me but for my whole family. While you won't see me wearing a flag tee, I like to keep my outfit picks more on the subtle side, with their symbolism inherent. For this year's 4th of July outfit, I decided to pair my blue peplum top and white skinny jeans from Express! I do a monthly outfit post featuring my picks from Express and decided to go all patriotic with this feature.
Yes, skinny jeans are here to stay, at least for me. In this case, I have opted for a high rise skinny jeans, as I believe it pairs beautifully with the crop top. A few years ago, I wouldn't have opted for a crop top, but with the higher-rise denim I wear now, I have been reaching out for quite a few crop tops.
For the Red, in my Red, White, and Blue outfit, I had to wear my signature red lips. And added red statement earrings. Some blue denim mules, a straw bag and we are ready to party like it's 1776!
