Its that bitter sweet time of the year again.Fall is waiting at the door, but people like me, are holding onto the last few weeks of Summer.
Summer Whites are a personal favorite of mine, and my closet is a huge proof of that. With Labor Day tomorrow, what's your stance on Whites ? Will you be packing them away or will you be a rebel, and be wearing White after Labor Day. Well. I surely fall into the second category. And speaking of Whites, I can never talk enough of my White Midi Skirt. Its a wardrobe staple, as it can be styled across seasons, with changes in color combinations. shoes and accessories. I had styled this Skirt in a Spring Style, a few years back, for one of the nights of Kansas City Fashion Week, which I was covering as Official Media. If you want to see more of that look, then click Here. And yet another time, I had worn it on Christmas Eve. If you want to see that look, then Click Here. So you see how versatile this Skirt is .
This year, I thought styling it as a Transitional Style to Fall. The Chambray Skirt was the perfect Fall element to add to the outfit. I was heading to the First Fridays at the Kansas City Crossroads Art District and needed comfortable foot wear. Heels were ruled out with a big No. When it came to choosing from my stash of Flats, I opted for a pair of Nude Calvin Klein Pumps, which had a Mustard Toe. As we all know, Mustard is surely another color, which you can take from Summer to Fall with ease. I tied in the Yellow palette, with some Yellow and multi color tassel Earrings. My Chanel Sunglasses and a Gold Clutch.
If you are Shopping the Labor Day sales. and you chance upon a cute White Skirt, you know it should come home with you.
