EMERALD ENIGMA : KCFW FW'17 BUBBLY AND BOWTIES OOTD

"Bubbly and Bowties," is the fanciest party in town, and its hosted by Kansas City Fashion Week , as a part of their Fall Winter scheds. I had a blast last year, and I knew, I didnt want to miss it this time. Excitement aside, it was time for Outfit Planning yet again. If you have been following my KCFW updates, then you are aware, that this time, I wanted to focus on Spring Trends in my Outfit Plans. If it was STRIPES for KCFW Kick off at Kendra Scott, and BLUSH and DISTRESSED DENIM for KCFW Media Meet N Greet at Fortuity, then it was time Go Green.

Greenery is one of the Pantone Colors of the Year . And what better way to set the mood for Spring, by bringing in jewel tones. The shade of Green I opted for is Emerald. I had picked up this gown a few years back , for a wedding. I remember when I was trying on dresses, and stepped out in this number, even strangers around me, said, I should pick up this dress, as the color was doing wonders for me. While last year , I had opted for a Cocktail Dress for Bubbly and Bowties, this year, I decided to go the floor length route. Its not everyday, that its a Black Tie affair, after all.

As the dress had some Blingy accents, I decided to take the Bling factor forward. My trusty Swarvoski earrings , and my shinny Gunmetal Clutch. Strappy Gunmatel sandals to complete the ensemble. Black Smokey eyes and MAC Mehr on the lips. It was time to party.
