Meet Ups are an awesome way to connect with other like minded bloggers, share a cup of coffee or a cocktail. While some meet ups are just networking events, there are some which are mini workshops. Blog Talk KC Meets Up every alternate month, with a Mini Workshop on Blogging Tools. This was the thrid Workshop I attended with the. Last Thursday we met up downtown at THE SUNDRY, who were gracious enough to let us use their space. I had never been to The Sundry before. I could not stop loving the canary yellow chairs . They are such a pop of color . It was a speciality grocery store, where you could grab a tasty bite, right in the heart of the KC Crossroads district. I loved their house brewed Coffee. I want to go there for Brunch with my husband, and pick up some goodies.
Pinterest was the topic of discussion for this mini workshop . Let me very frank, I had not been very active on Pinterest. My major social media activity is on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Given the fact that Pinterest can be a huge Traffic booster to your blog, I had started to spend some time on it. Mostly I use Pinterest as a visual search engine, like almost everyone else.
