And it was time for the last day of Kansas City Week Spring Summer '16. A beautiful week celebrating Fashion, was coming to a close. As monochromes had been a strong feature in many shows of the season, I decided to stick to the palette. I picked out a Black and White dress which I had worn earlier in the year for my daughter's birthday. You can't go wrong with monochromes or stripes. And this dress had both. the beauty of the dress was that the stripes were asymmetrical which gave you an illusion and hid your problem area(for me thats my tummy ).
I wanted to play up the monochromes with some shadesofblue. So I opted for a turquoise and red necklace with co-ordinating earrings, which was another find from my many trips to New Mexico. i have thing for turquoise , i am sur you know by now.
For my Eye Make up, I used my URBAN DECAY NAKED PALETTE 1 . I used the colors Sidecar on the inner corner, Gunmetal on the outer corner. I used the color Naked as a transition shade on my crease. For my lips, it was MAC VIVA GLAM 1 . the rest was my basic everyday make up. I have given heat styling miss for my hair and let my natural texture shine through. I used some serum to tame the flyways.
Huge Thank You to Jacquelyn Lippert of 5 o clock fashionistas and Samantha Globe of Of Life and Style for the beautiful pictures of this post.
